1- BMW
BMW has recently launched the concept for its hydrogen car known as BMW iX5. It is an electric vehicle which is hydrogen powered.
BMW says that iX5 can be refueled by hydrogen gas in three to four minutes. The car is still roaming around the globe so the engineers can check how efficient and effective this car is. Due to this reason, there is no set release date and price for BMW iX5.
2- Toyota
Toyota’s hydrogen powered car, Mirai, was released in 2014 and since then, it has also come up in new models and colors. The car has seen great sales in Japan and the United States.
It has a refueling time of five minutes and you can refuel it from petrol stations by showing the fuel card that’s provided along with the car.
3- Hyundai
Hyundai Nexo Fuel Cell is also commercially available in the USA. According to the Car and Driver’s review of Nexo Fuel Cell by Hyundai, it can manage 0-60 mph pick-up in 8.4 seconds.
Hyundai also gives a $15000 valued fuel card along with the car which can go for six years. The car has a range of 380 miles and it can be refueled in approximately five minutes.
4- Honda
Honda has tested hydrogen engines in its previous models and now the company is working to make cars that work completely on hydrogen.
The hydrogen powered car model of Honda named CR-V e:FCEV is set to release in 2025 and will be set for dealerships in California by the end of 2024. Other specifics about this hydrogen car are not yet released by the company.
5- Mercedes Benz
Mercedes Benz has launched its concept hydrogen powered car called Mercedes-Benz GLC F-CELL. It is an electric vehicle which uses hydrogen as a fuel. Mercedes Benz released the car in 2017 and now it is available in two variants.
