iPhone X is put into recovery mode by connecting the IOS to iTunes app and updating the software that is not available in Settings of iPhone X. There are five simple steps to put the iPhone X into recovery mode.

You can restore your iPhone X with recovery mode with the help of following steps:

1- Update iTunes

The first step is to update your iTunes app. If the iTunes app is running on MAC or PC, quit from there to smoothly proceed with recovery mode.

2- Connect iPhone X to PC or MAC

You have to connect your iPhone X to PC or MAC with a lightning cable. The lightning cable usually comes in the box with iPhone X.

3- Force Restart iPhone

Now comes the step where you have to force restart the iPhone X. There is a specific way to restart the iPhone X.

You need to quickly press the volume up button and then quickly press the volume down button. After that, press the side button. Press the buttons slowly but simultaneously until you see the recovery screen on iPhone X.

4- Use iTunes for Recovery

When you see the recovery screen on iPhone X, it means that it is in DFU mode and you can see the iTunes app on the screen. Click on the iTunes app and you will see a prompt asking if you want to Update or Restore the iPhone.

If you click on update, the iPhone X will automatically start updating latest updates without deleting any of your data. 

5- Exit Recovery Mode

To exit recovery mode after the iPhone X has been updated, disconnect the iPhone X from PC or MAC and restart the device by clicking the side button.
