Many iPhone users are facing this issue that their Google search disappears when they use Safari to access Google.

As soon as they click on the search window, it disappears behind the Safari address bar. When this happens, users cannot see what they are typing and it creates problems when they are searching for something. Is this a bug and how to get rid of  it?

iPhone users complain that Google search disappears only when they are on Safari. If you want to solve this problem, try the following solution:

1- Restart your iPhone

Restarting your iPhone will probably get rid of any bugs on IOS that are making your Google search disappear on iPhone. After restarting the iPhone, check if you can now see the Google search engine while browsing.

2- Clear Website Data

Clearing data is a good solution to make Safari have a fresh start. Safari will work more efficiently when the website data is cleared. To clear the website data on iPhone:

  • Go to the Settings on your iPhone and open Safari.
  • Click on Clear History and Website Data.
  • Click Confirm to clear the history and website data of Safari from your iPhone.

3- Change Your Internet Connection

Sometimes, the internet connection can also be a problem why your Google search disappears on iPhone. You should try switching to a different wifi connection and check if the issue is still there. If you are using mobile data, switch to a wifi connection and vice versa.

4- Complain to Google

As much as it seems like this is only an IOS problem, there can be some glitches from Google too that is making search disappear on the iPhone.
