UltraViolet was a cloud-based platform to watch movies but it got shut down in 2019. But there was an option to transfer all your purchased and downloaded movies to another device. You can also download your Ultraviolet movies to the iPhone by following some steps.
How to Get UV Redemption Code on iPhone to Watch UV Movies?
You can download the digital copy of UV movies to iTunes by redeeming a code. You need to have a UV’s DVD for getting the code. To get the code, follow these steps:
- On your iPhone Safari, go to movieredeem.com
- Click on Open with Tunes.
- Click on “Redeem your Gift Card Using Your iPhone’s Camera.
- Click on “Take Picture” and take the picture of the code that is given on the gift card that came with the UV’s movie.
- Scan the code and click “Redeem” at the top right corner of the screen.
- The digital copy of the movie will automatically get downloaded.
- If you have Flixster or Vudu, you will be able to watch your recently downloaded movie from there.
Steps to Transfer Ultraviolet Movies to iPhone
You can transfer the Ultraviolet movies to Flixster on the iPhone. You can transfer it while on PC or on iPhone using a browser.
- Use a browser on iPhone and open Flixster page by going to http://www.flixster.com/
- If you already have a Flixster account, log in or sign up if you do not have an account.
- After you sign up, a window will appear asking if you want to link your Flixster account to an Ultraviolet account. Click on Yes.
- Make sure to check the Link Account box and tap Continue.
- Fill in all your Ultraviolet login details.
- Once your accounts are linked, you will be able to see all your UV movies in Flixster on iPhone.
